Rev. Fr. Wilfredo de Mesa OSJ celebrated his thanksgiving Mass

Rosario, Batangas - Today, July 20, 2013, at 11 am, Rev. Fr. Wilfredo de Mesa, OSJ, one of the newly ordained priest, celebrated his thanksgiving Mass at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish in this town.
Fr. Wilfy, as he is fondly called, likened himself into a CLAY, as spoken of in the first reading, molded by the hands of God into becoming who and what he is now, a priest of God. He is also like St. Paul's EARTHEN VESSEL, who accepted the call and the message of Christ. As an earthen vessel, he has to open himself to Be filled in by God by His grace, though at some moment unworthy and at times broken. But as a clay, God's loving and forgiving hands are always there to mold him again into His priest.
Fr. Noel, in his thanksgiving speech, affirmed the sharing of Fr Wilfy in the latter's homily. He further said that the priesthood is not about us but always about God, about Jesus. He also reminded him of the true meaning of the word 'father' in 'Father Wilfy', which is being GOOD like a true father of a family, in his ministry and in his apostolate.
Fr. Wilfy expressed his gratitude to all those who help him fulfill his dream and his vocation.
